During the summer, members have been participating in Gateway Games 2026-these activities having taken place in and around the centre. They have ranged from penalty shoot-outs to javelin and skittles to beanbag throws. There has been lots of friendly competition, with members receiving certificates and badges for their efforts.

There has been a considerable amount of birthdays, with Martin accompanying the singing on the guitar. The bakers have been kept busy making various flavoured cakes, and, as usual, nothing has gone to waste!

We had a week of pizza making and eating and another of bbqs-the last ones of the year. We will be having our Christmas social in mid December and then more themed meals in the new year.

Last week, we welcomed a new cohort of students from Exeter College-we wish them well in their placement and hope they make the most of the opportunity to engage with the wonderful people that attend the centre.
